Instruction: Passage A is an introduction of an essay on ‘early year science programme’, which is written mostly in simple sentences. Revise using complex and compound sentences and fill in the blanks in ‘Revision’.

Passage A

Incorporating science into early childhood curriculum is feasible. The reason is that children are naturally curious. They also have the drive to explore how things work. Moreover, early science programmes can help foster children’s lifelong love of science. Such programmes can even support the development of other skills. These skills include analytical, reasoning and problem-solving skills. However, early childhood education teachers are less experienced with science. They may face challenges. They find it difficult to design a developmentally appropriate science programme. This essay will analyse and compare the content of three early childhood science making programmes. The essay will also suggest a framework for developing science making programmes for Hong Kong kindergarten teachers.
